Sometimes, might need to send emails in bulk e.g. general updates to all the end users. This article outlines how to do that using Kayako.
Kayako has not been designed to send emails in bulk. Also, it is essential to highlight that sending emails without the proper authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) or content may result in domain or IP addresses reputation to decrease and therefore been marked as spam or blacklisted.
However, there are two workarounds:
- Use the Bulk conversation API to create a bunch of conversations with the same content that will send out an email to the requesters.
- Use integration with an application like MailChimp that will send the email for you. You can use Zapier to set the integration up as it does not require any programming knowledge.
The outcome will depend on which option you choose, but the primary purpose to send an email to all the end users in bulk will be met.
