Overview
When users try to log in to the Support Center, they are seeing the following error:
We encountered a problem (cross-site request forgery detected); please try again.
This article provides information on how to fix the issue.
Solution
This issue is mostly caused by browser caching problems. Your browser keeps a record of all the websites you visit and store it in its history file. Internet browser cache, on the other hand, acts as a roadmap for all the web sites you visit. It saves copies of these sites locally on your computer so that the web sites will load faster the next time you visit them.
Over time, these files can get damaged and may cause browser-related problems and generate errors such as the one above. Additionally, after some time, this can eat up the data storage space on your device. If you encounter this issue, consider clearing your browser cache and history files.
Click the links below for instructions on how to clear your browser cache and cookies for popular browsers.
If the problem persists, check whether the website works on a different browser or not.
- Open a different browser.
- Access your Kayako Classic Support Center.
- Try to login to see if it works.
If the site works in another browser, this means that the other browser is the culprit. Explore the settings and if possible, uninstall and reinstall the browser to see if that helps. Contact the browser manufacturer/developer for assistance. You should be able to find their support pages by searching the internet.
