Overview
You might be wondering if Kayako Classic supports Single Sign-on (SSO) authentication.
Information
Single sign-on (SSO) is an authentication method that allows a user to log in with a single ID and password to access software systems or computers where permission was granted.
In Kayako Classic, there's no native feature that allows you to integrate this authentication method directly. However, there's a Kayako module available for SAML Single Sign-On integration which you can find on the Kayako Community Forum page. You would be able to implement this integration if you are using the Kayako Classic download version.
Unfortunately, it cannot be done for Kayako Classic OnDemand since we are hosting your software and we do not allow the installation of the module source code in the installation directory. For OnDemand customers, LoginShare can be implemented as an alternative solution but you would need to host the LoginShare script files on your server.
LoginShare is a mechanism that can be used to authenticate users against any third party application. To learn more about LoginShare, please visit the Configuring Remote Authentication Using LoginShare article.
